OPTIMIZATION OF NUMBER AND UTILIZATION OF HARVEST MACHINES ACCORDING TO THE TIME FACTOR

Abstract:

Optimization of number and utilization of harvest machine is based on searching compromise between the level of yearly utilization of harvest machines and the duration of harvest. The higher is the utilization of harvest machines the longer is the duration of harvest and the lower are the machinery costs. The longer is the duration of harvest the higher are the losses transformed into losses of market production.

The modeling of the relation between losses of market production and utilization of combines was based on dynamic and linear programming (simplex method with parameters) within the simulation model with changeable step of simulation. The last version respects also the principles of heuristic simulations methods and influence of the meteorological changes. Results of simulation are the optimal number of harvest machines, season and yearly performance and the profit (difference between market production and costs).
