Je příznačné, že k úvodnímu slovu dnešní konference, která se koná na prahu třetího tisíciletí, je použito citátu Cicerona, významného římského politika, filosofa, básníka a především řečníka. Poukazuje na to, že bez cílevědomé činnosti nelze očekávat dobré výsledky.
