Sugar beet harvest in Hradec Králové region will be by 11 percent lower, sown areas have decreased

This year´s sugar beet harvest in the Hradec Králové region will probably drop by 11 percent year-on-year to 731,600 tons from last year's record 822,900 tons. The reason is a reduction of the areas sown with sugar beet by 11 percent to 10,505 hectares. The yield per hectare should be the same as last year, at over 69 tons.
